In 2017, inspiraComm conducted a motivational session for 15 Orang Asli students from primary 6 to prepare them for secondary school. One of the main fears highlighted by the students to the school teachers – they were afraid to enter secondary school.
The programme focused on fun and engaging activities to instill positive mindset in strengthening the emotional and mental aspects of the students. They needed the guidance and assurance to conquer their fears and to eliminate self-doubts to be ready to face life challenges.
The objective of the session was to reduce drop-outs in secondary school amongst the Orang Asli students. Hence, the participants gained new ideas, knowledge and insights from a different perspective on how to overcome fears and be brave to take on life challenges to be a agile, adaptable, confident and independent lifelong learners.
